GyroHSR Appoints Richard Hammond to Global Client Services Role

Ex-Spirit CEO Joins to Enhance Global Client Offering LONDON – (July 12, 2010) – GyroHSR, the international marketing agency network, has appointed Richard Hammond, founder of advertising agency Spirit, to the role of International Client Services Director.

Hammond has significant agency experience and joins GyroHSR from Spirit Advertising, the ATL ad agency he established in 2000. Spirit’s expertise in FMCG, Green and luxury goods make Hammond ideally placed to enrich GyroHSR’s creative and strategic approach for its international clients.

As International Client Services Director, Hammond will enhance GyroHSR’s service offering for its largest network clients and, while principally based in the UK, he will deliver global client servicing. His expertise in global TV, outdoor and print will be directly applied to growing GyroHSR’s international expertise in these areas. In his new role, Hammond will deepen relationships between GyroHSR’s 19 offices worldwide to further enhance the service delivery for global client brands.

Prior to establishing Spirit Advertising, Hammond was Senior Vice President at Bozell Worldwide, the American-owned integrated marketing agency network. Hammond has more than 25 years industry experience and is a member of the Solus Club, a patron of Trees for Cities and is a co-founder of Green Rewards, the first ethical & environmental rewards programme in the UK.
